The Director School Education Kashmir has instructed all teaching faculty to report to their respective schools by February 20 to ensure a smooth resumption of classes.

The winter break in the region began on December 1, 2022, and lasted for a period of three months. During this time, schools were closed due to harsh weather conditions, including heavy snowfall, which made it difficult for students and teachers to commute to and from school.

Now that the winter season is coming to an end, the government has decided to reopen all schools in the Valley to ensure that students can resume their studies and complete their academic year without any further interruptions.

In a statement released by the Director School Education Kashmir, it was emphasized that the safety and well-being of students and staff is of utmost importance. Therefore, all necessary precautions will be taken to ensure a safe and secure learning environment for everyone.
