The T20 World Cup will kickstart on October 16 with the qualifier round that will see four teams moving up to the Super 12 stage to join the top eight teams.

 

The ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022 is all set to begin next month in Australia, where a total of 16 teams will compete for the World T20 title. The tournament will kickstart on October 16 with the qualifier round that will see four teams moving up to the Super 12 stage to join the top eight teams in the ICC T20 rankings.

 

The winner of Group A and the runner-up of Group B will be moved into Group 1 of the Super 12 stage, while the winner of Group B and the runner-up of Group A will be drawn into Group 1 of the Super 12 stage. The opening match of the Super 12 stage is scheduled to take place on October 22 between New Zealand and Australia.

 

The final of the competition is slated to take place at the iconic Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) on November 13. Australia are the defending champions having won the tournament in the UAE last year. Ahead of the highly-anticipated event, let’s take a look at the squads of all qualified teams, including India and Australia.
